Halifax Shipyards built Tribal Class destroyers alongside Jetty 5 HMC Dockyard,July 1962. The ships include HMCS Cayuga 218,Nootka 213,Athabaskan (ii) 219 and Micmac 214. All except Micmac served in Korea alongside the British built Haida 215, Huron 216 and Iroquois 217. The first Athabaskan was lost in action in off the coast of France in WW2.
