FAREWELL AFL NEW ENGLAND

American Feeder Lines has apparently shot its bolt with the Halifax/Boston/Portland feeder service due to lack of traffic /interest in the service, this coming within days of the Province making a  half-million loan to the firm (not exercised ?). Not a surprise, the vessel plied the route almost empty over the past (part year) seldom showing a container above the main deck. A shame to see this fail as it was a worthwhile effort unfortunately the timing was probably not the best.Photo shot in the Basin this week.
