SPRUCEGLEN

Bulk carrier SPRUCEGLEN fresh out of the NOVADOCK with ATLANTIC WILLOW hanging on aft attempting to get a bite on the bottom at Anchorage 9 in the Bedford Basin on a stormy afternoon January 27th 2012.
SPRUCEGLEN looks quite spiffy in her new Red Frock,so it woulldn't do to scuff her up along the Western shore of the Basin.Tug may have to maintain until the ships own power can be brought on line after her docking.

Self-discharging bulkcarrier CSL SPIRIT spotted still alongside Pier
9 Halifax on January 22nd 2012. She has now been registered in Canada (21,01,2012).

Hapag Lloyd containership OAKLAND EXPRESS spotted alongside the Fairview Cove terminal today 22nd January 2012. Also at the terminal was the Hapag-Lloyd charter vessel ITALY EXPRESS. Both ships are regular callers at the Port of Halifax. The former vessel serves on the PAX (Pacific/Atlantic Express run to Asia via Panama,while the latter provides service to North American, Atlantic Seaboard ports via the Med /Suez route to the Far East.
