ACL Ro-Con Vessel ATLANTIC SAIL at Fairview Cove

ACLs second new G4 Container/Ro-Ro vessel called again at Fairview Cove terminal on the 13th July 2016. The ships present a unique profile in the container
ship world, one which ACL hopes will maintain its very respected claim of never having lost a container in their long history of trans-Atlantic shipping. The use of the container constraint system visually obvious is the reason for such a well deserved claim. Bravo Zulu to ACL.

New Ro-Ro / Container Vessel spotted  on her second voyage to North America, ATLANTIC SAIL shown here at Fairview Cove Terminal on July 4th 2016. She and her sister ATLANTIC STAR are the first of Atlantic Container Line's new generation of Ro/Con Vessels. They are certainly a unique looking design.

BOXING DAY in the BASIN

Boxing Day 2015 was busy indeed after the quiet Christmas holiday. Alongside during Christmas was KOBE EXPRESS which lay idle until the 26th.First to arrive on Boxing Day was OOCL Kuala Lumpur followed at Mid-Day by OAKLAND EXPRESS which lay off Rockingham briefly while KOBE EXPRESS got underway from the East berth at Fairview. Lots of tug activity with  Atlantic's Larch, Willow and Oak deployed.
